Using clean renewable solar energy to build your electronics - page 40

On-track Technology is doing our bit to reduce our carbon footprint and help protect our environment for our future generations.

As a leading local contract manufacturer, we help many local businesses build their electronics through our Sydney manufacturing facility in Milperra NSW 2214. In our electronics manufacturing, we would on daily, use large amounts of electrical energy in our soldering processes to heat up the solder for Reflow Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering, Through-Hole (TH) wave soldering, TH Selective soldering and TH Soldering robots.

Since making our move to our new manufacturing facility in Milperra in July 2019, we have developed new manufacturing process strategies to significantly increase our manufacturing capacity to service the ever increasing demand for local manufacturing of electronic PCB assemblies. This increased manufacturing capacity have also increased our demand for more use in electrical power.

To offset our use for electrical power, in 2021, On-track Technology have invested in using clean renewable solar energy to build your electronics. On our brand new factory roof, we have installed 220 off 4.5kW Solar PV panels giving us a total of 99kW solar energy generation capacity. To convert all this solar energy to useable AC electrical power, we have installed 3 off 25kW Solar Inverters giving us a total of 75kW of solar power generation capacity.

On-track Technology is committed to reducing our carbon footprint and help reduce our impacts on the environment.
